Recently, some US government public health websites that were ordered to be restored now carry a warning message denying the existence of transgender people. This warning message aligns with an Executive Order signed by President Donald Trump on January 20, which emphasizes recognizing only two sexes, male and female.
A federal judge's order on Tuesday mandated the restoration of certain government public health webpages and datasets to their versions as of January 30. However, it remains uncertain whether the warning messages now displayed on these sites violate the court order.
The warning message informs visitors that the information has been restored due to a court order but asserts that any content promoting gender ideology is inaccurate and disconnected from the biological reality of two sexes. The message, highlighted in a blue box, specifically rejects gender ideology and condemns the perceived harms it causes to children.

For instance, on an FDA page discussing the study of sex differences in medical product evaluations, the warning states that the Trump Administration rejects gender ideology and emphasizes that the page does not reflect biological reality.
This development raises concerns about the government's stance on gender identity and its impact on public health information dissemination. It underscores the ongoing debate surrounding gender identity recognition and the administration's efforts to enforce a binary view of sex.
