British Prime Minister Keir Starmer announced on Thursday that the US and UK will be collaborating on a new economic deal with advanced technology at its core. This decision comes following a meeting with US President Donald Trump.
Starmer highlighted that both countries possess trillion-dollar tech sectors and are leaders in artificial intelligence (AI). He emphasized that instead of over-regulating these new technologies, they are focusing on seizing the opportunities they offer.

The Prime Minister also pointed out the deep economic ties between the UK and US, with each country having $1.5 trillion invested in the other's economy.
During an earlier meeting in the Oval Office, President Trump mentioned that he had not yet made a decision on whether to impose tariffs on imports from the UK.
