Repair work will be carried out on a bridge over the M1 with temporary traffic lights in place to repair it. A6007 Stapleford Road, which goes over the M1 at Trowell, needs a bridge joint to be repaired.
To do this, there will be overnight traffic measures in place to repair it. This will run from Monday (August 8) to Wednesday (August 10).

There will be a temporary two-way traffic light system in place on the A6007 Stapleford Road while this work is carried out. These signals will be in place for two nights from 8pm in the evening to 6am the following morning to minimise traffic disruption.
No roadworks are expected for the M1 itself, and traffic on the motorway is expected to remain unaffected. Work will be carried out by Via East Midlands on behalf of Highways England.
