An urgent strangulation warning has been issued for a girl's swimsuit as parents are told to "discontinue use".
The floral two-piece bathing suit appeared on the VOVA Platform as the Competition and Consumer Protection Commission in Ireland issued the notice.
The CCPC says on its website that "a safety issue has been identified with a baby girl’s swimming costume sold on the VOVA Platform".
It adds: "The risk associated with the product is that of asphyxiation. The article presents a risk of entrapment which could lead to strangulation or other injuries."
The brand of the product is unknown but the type/number of the model is C03-5-3-2, the Irish Mirror reports.
The batch number and barcode are also unknown.
Parents have been warned of the product because of its availability online.
It is unclear if there have been reports of strangulation related to this bathing suit.
The CCPC said: "It may have been sold to customers in the Republic of Ireland."
They advise: "If you purchased one of these products, please discontinue use immediately and keep it out of the reach of children.
"The VOVA e-marketplace has ceased trading, and the product offer is no longer accessible."
It comes as parents who may be getting their kids into their cossies and into paddling pools have been warned about the dangers of stagnant water.
Temperatures are continuing to soar across the country this month, with the Met Office issuing Level 2 and 3 heat-health alerts to ensure that people stay safe in the heatwave.
With the temperature predicted to spike to 37C, many Brits will be relying on their trusty paddling pool to cool off.
Any stagnant pools of water tend to be quite attractive to bugs, parasites, bacteria and algae, which then make the paddling pools their home.
While bugs typically aren't harmful - simply making the experience of using the pool less enjoyable - other critters in the water may be more harmful.
Things like toxic algae and parasites tend to thrive in warm waters. For instance, Giardia and cryptosporidium are two microscopic parasites in water that impact our intestines.
Giardia infections cause cramps, bloating and watery diarrhoea, according to Mayo Clinic. Crypto infections also cause vomiting and slight fever in addition to intestinal difficulties.
