Urgent warning for Elton John fans attending Glasgow OVO Hydro gig on Sunday

Those attending Elton John's second and final gig at Glasgow's OVO Hydro have been given a warning as he makes his last debut on stage in Scotland as part of his Farewell Yellow Brick Road tour.

Gig-goers attending the musical extravaganza on Sunday tonight have been warned to head to the venue early and have been advised that his show will kick off slightly earlier than last night's performance with a new start time of 7.15pm.

Tonight is the the Tiny Dancer singer's final show in Scotland, and organisers sent out an alert to people to ensure fans wouldn't miss any of the action from the 76-year-old, reports in The Sun indicate.

A spokesperson for the OVO Hydro said: "Elton John is going on slightly earlier tonight than his show last night, and will be heading on at 7.15pm prompt."

During his Aberdeen show, Elton blasted security guards at one of his last-ever Scottish gigs because they tried to stop fans dancing and he lost his cool with crews as he called them out as "morons" for trying to hold the crowds back.

He launched into a foul-mouthed rant from behind his piano aimed directly at the security and said: “Remove those barriers immediately and let the people dance. It’s not a f*****g tea party. Morons.”

Meanwhile, we reported ahead of his Saturday show in Glasgow last night that the 70s singing icon purchased over half a grand worth of grub for his crew members at a local family burger restaurant in the East end of the city.

Elton paid a visit to family-run smokehouse venue Dennistoun Bar-B-Que on Saturday in the East end of the city, as staff shared a snippet of his visit by sharing his hefty food order which according to their menu totalled around over £600.

The order included 25 BBQ pork buns, 25 BBQ brisket buns, one vegan 'granny' burger, four veggie smoke stacks, six chicken burgers and 10 portions of garlic fries - and we doubt it was all for him! likely to feed his crew who are on the road with him.

The Tiny Dancer singer is on Scottish turf to perform his shows in Aberdeen and Glasgow as part of his Farewell Yellow Brick Road tour, having already wowed fans at the P&J Live and done his first Glasgow show last night.

Sir Elton is currently on his worldwide farewell tour, appropriately titled Farewell Yellow Brick Road, which had to previously be postponed due to the coronavirus pandemic and then again as he had to undergo surgery on his hip.

After his gig tonight in the people's city, Sir Elton will jet off to perform in Paris, Zurich, Copenhagen and Sweden.
