Urgent search to trace missing pensioner last seen in Paisley this morning

Police are appealing for information to help trace a missing man who was last seen in Paisley.

Adam Mair, 73, from East Kilbride, South Lanarkshire was last seen around 11am today in the town.

Police have described him as being around 5ft 9in tall, of medium build, bald with short white hair around the sides and wears glasses. When last seen, he was wearing a dark blue parka jacket.

Police believe that he may have travelled to Glencoe.

He has access to a blue Volkswagen Polo car with the registration SM08 UJH.

Sergeant Victoria Shanley said: “We are appealing for the help of the public to trace Adam and would ask anyone who has seen anyone matching his description or who has any information on his whereabouts to contact us.

“Additionally, I would ask anyone who has seen his vehicle to get in touch.”

Anyone with any information is asked to contact 101 quoting incident 1898 of 3 November, 2022.
