Urgent search launched to find Inverness man who vanished five days ago

An urgent search has been launched to trace a missing Scots man who vanished earlier this week. Cops are asking the public for help to trace James Falconer, 64.

He was last seen at around 9.40pm on Monday, October 24, in Academy Street, Inverness. Officers say James is described as around 6ft 2ins in height, stocky build, with short grey hair.

When James was last seen he was wearing a dark coloured jacket, a light coloured pair of trousers, a light coloured shirt and a dark coloured baseball cap.

A Police Scotland spokesperson appealed to anyone with information on James' disappearance to come forward.

They said: "If anybody has seen James or has any information or knowledge of his whereabouts, then please contact Police Scotland quoting incident PS-20221028-1981."
