Urgent search launched for two missing Scottish teenagers who could be in Edinburgh

An urgent search has been launched for two missing teenagers who may have travelled to Edinburgh.

Tyler-Jay Stevens and Nico Adams, both 15, from Inverness are believed to have made their way down to Edinburgh or Glasgow via train after they were last seen on Saturday afternoon.

Both are described as being 6ft 1 of slim build with short dark hair and may have been carrying a black backpack or black chest bag.

Police Scotland are urging anyone with information or with sightings to get in touch.

A statement from Police Scotland reads: "We are appealing for help to trace two teenagers reported missing from the Inverness area.

"Tyler-Jay Stevens (left) and Nico Adams (right), both aged 15, are believed to have travelled south together on a train, and may now be in Glasgow or Edinburgh.

"Tyler-Jay was last seen around 2.40am yesterday in the Dalneigh area and Nico was last seen around 4am yesterday in the Scaniport area.

"Both are described as being 6ft 1, of slim build, with short dark hair.

"They may be in possession of a black backpack and/or black chest bag.

"Anyone with information about their whereabouts is asked to contact officers via 101, quoting reference 1011 or 2867 of 17 June."
