A frantic search has been launched for a missing 12-year-old boy who disappeared from Edinburgh two days ago.
Jamie McEwan was last seen in the Howden Hall Road area of the capital on Thursday, May 11 and police say they are growing increasingly concerned for his welfare.
The schoolboy is described as 5ft 5ins, of slim build and with short, fair blonde hair.
He was last seen wearing a navy tracksuit and white Adidas trainers.
Police Scotland has since confirmed that Jamie has been traced.
In a post on social media on Sunday morning at 11.30am, officers from Edinburgh said: "Thank you for sharing our appeal regarding a 12-year-old boy missing from Howden Hall, Edinburgh.
"Jamie has now been traced. Thank you again."
