Urgent search launched for missing Scots woman last seen almost a week ago

An urgent search has been launched for a Scots woman who vanished almost one week ago.

Officers in Tayside are appealing to the public for their help in tracing Karen McDonald, 36, who was last seen on the afternoon of Tuesday, August 9 in the Springfield area of Forfar. Cops have described Karen as white, around 5ft 8ins, of medium build, with dyed blonde hair which is very short with a fringe.

It is believed that Karen has connections in the Aberdeen area.

Police Scotland have asked anyone with information to come forward. A spokesperson said: "Anyone who has seen Karen or knows of her whereabouts is requested to call 101, quoting reference 3319 of Thursday, 11 August, 2022."
