Police are searching for a missing woman who disappeared from east London.
Leyla Pekcan, 23, from the Hackney area, vanished on Sunday.
She was last seen by a member of public around 10pm near Springfield Crossing Bridge over the River Lea, the Metropolitan Police said.
Detective Inspector Conrad Trotman added: “We are concerned for the welfare of Leyla and are working tirelessly to locate her.
“Leyla was last seen by a member of public on Sunday, July 21 at 10pm near Springfield Crossing Bridge over the River Lea E5.
“Leyla was wearing all black, a long sleeved top and trousers.
“Leyla is a white woman, with shoulder length, two tone black and blue hair.
Police are concerned for the welfare of Leyla who was last seen around 0600 hours on 19th July 2024 in the Homerton area in the Borough of Hackney. Any sightings or information please contact police quoting 01/621881/24 pic.twitter.com/FNp2yIQ8Fo
