Urgent search for two missing teenage girls thought to be together

A frantic search has been launched for two missing teenage girls who are believed to have vanished together. Niamh Quigley was last seen in the Motherwell Road area of Bellshill at around 10.40am on Tuesday, June 13.

Officers believe the 14-year-old may be in the company of missing Caileigh Ogilvie. The 13-year-old was last seen at around 5.30pm on Monday June 12, in the Forrest Street area of Airdrie.

Police Scotland are asking for the public's help in tracing the missing girls.

Niamh is described as 5ft 3 in height, with long blonde hair. She was last seen wearing a purple jump suit, black converse trainers and a black biker jacket.

Caileigh is described as being 5ft 6 in height, with long brown hair. She was last seen wearing a pink t-shirt, black shorts and a blue jacket.

Anyone who may have seen Niamh or Caileigh since this time, or who has any information which could be relevant, is urged to contact Police Scotland via 101 quoting incident number 4706 of 13/06/2023.
