Cops have launched an urgent search for a missing Scots woman who vanished after going to climb a mountain.
Justina Kolberg, from Edinburgh, has not been in contact with anyone since disappearing from the Aviemore area at around 8am on Wednesday, January 26.
The 32-year-old woman is understood to have gone to the ski centre at around 8am on Wednesday morning and headed off to climb Ben Macdui in the Cairngorms.
However, she has not been in touch with anyone since 2pm on Wednesday afternoon and police are concerned for her welfare.
Extensive searches have been carried, with mountain rescue teams and Police Scotland helicopters drafted in.
But she is yet to be found and police are now appealing for information.
Justina is described as white, 5ft 7ins in height and of slim build with blonde hair.
She was last seen she was wearing a blue jacket, black trousers and was carrying a black rucksack.
Sergeant Craig Johnstone at Aviemore Police Station said: “We believe that Justina headed to the ski centre around 8am on Wednesday morning and headed off to climb Ben Macdui in the Cairngorms. She has not been in contact with anyone since about 2pm on Wednesday and we are concerned for her safety.
“Officers have been carrying out enquiries to trace her and searches have been ongoing in the local area and on Ben Macdui involving mountain rescue teams and the Air Support Unit.”
"Anyone who has seen Justina or who has any information that may assist officers should contact 101 with reference 3004 of 26 January."
