Urgent search for Scot in his 60s who hasn't been seen for three days

Police Scotland are appealing for the public's help to trace a man who has been reported missing, having not been seen for three days.

George Brown, 66, known as Douglas, was last seen around 6pm on Friday, September 30, 2022, at Cameron House Hotel on the banks of Loch Lomond. He is from Bridge of Weir in Renfrewshire.

He is described as white, 6ft, of medium build, with white receding hair and green eyes. He was last seen wearing a grey kilt jacket, grey kilt style waistcoat, a kilt, long black socks, and black shoes.

It is believed George could have travelled to the Ayrshire or Dumbarton areas.

Sergeant Sharon Crawford said: “We are concerned for George as time goes on and we are growing increasingly concerned for his welfare. I would urge anyone who thinks they may have seen him since 6pm on Friday to get in touch.”

Anyone who may have seen George or has any information on his whereabouts should contact Police Scotland on 101 quoting reference 2649 of October 2, 2022.
