Urgent search for missing Scots man last seen two days ago as concern grows for welfare

An urgent search has been launched for a missing Scots man last seen two days ago as concern grows for his welfare.

Police are trying to trace 48-year-old Stephen Ross from Glasgow who has been reported missing.

He was last seen in the Bishopbriggs area around 8pm on Friday, January 28.

Stephen is believed to have travelled to the Scottish Borders in his grey Ford Focus, registration number MV63 NHU.

He is described as being around 5’ 4” in height and of medium build with a bald head.

When he was last seen he was wearing a blue padded jacket, blue jeans and grey Sketcher trainers.

Officers are urging anyone with information on Stephen's whereabouts to get in touch.

PC Chris Donald from Kirkintilloch Police Station said : “We are growing increasingly concerned for Stephen and we would appeal to anyone who knows where Stephen is or his vehicle to contact Police Scotland on 101 quoting incident number 3566 of 29 January 2022.”
