The Food Safety Authority of Ireland has issued a recall notice on a very popular Italian product sold in supermarkets nationwide.
The alert was published on Thursday, July 7, on Roma’s 'Formaggio Da Pasta' due to the potential presence of mould.
The affected batch is in a pack size of 80g with the best before date 05/05/2023.
Point-of-sale recall notices are on display in affected supermarkets across the country and customers can avail of a full refund if they choose to bring back the product.
A statement from the FSAI read: “Valeo Foods is recalling the above batch of Roma Formaggio Da Pasta due to the possible presence of mould.
“Point-of-sale recall notices will be displayed in stores supplied with the implicated batch.”
