Urgent police appeal to locate missing teenage girl not seen for over 24 hours

Police have issued an urgent appeal to find a missing girl who was last seen near a high school over 24 hours ago.

Taylor, aged 15, was last seen near to Chorlton High School in south Manchester at around 1pm on Tuesday (February 28), with police continuing their efforts to trace her.

She is described as a white female, around 5ft 5ins tall, with blonde hair. She was last seen wearing a coat and black leggings and is believed to have links across south Manchester.

In a public appeal, Greater Manchester Police said officers are becoming 'increasingly concerned' about the teenager and want to make sure she is 'safe and well'.

The force has issued an image of Taylor as part of their appeal and is urging anyone who may have any sightings of Taylor or know any information about her whereabouts to report it immediately.

Anyone who has any information is asked to contact GMP on 101. Information can also been passed via the website: www.gmp.police.uk or anonymously through the independent charity - Crimestoppers - on 0800 555 111.
