Police in the North East of England said teenager Abdul Rahman El-Sharaifi could have travelled to the Manchester or Lancashire areas. Anyone with any information about his whereabouts is being asked to come forward.

Abdul was last seen in Middlesbrough last Friday evening and was wearing a light grey Berghaus jacket, black tracksuit bottoms and black trainers.

His image is now being circulated as part of the public appeal.

In a statement today, Cleveland Police said: "Have you seen missing Abdul, 15? Police are appealing to trace a missing 15-year-old boy from Middlesbrough.
