Urgent police appeal for missing man who left hospital in pyjamas before treatment

Police have issued an urgent public appeal for a missing man who left a hospital in pyjamas.

Alan Valentine is 62.

Greater Manchester Police said he was last seen at North Manchester General Hospital at 7pm on Wednesday night.

The force said he left before receiving treatment.

GMP has released an urgent appeal running across its social media channels.

A photograph of him is also being shared.

Mr Valentine could have changed his clothing, the force added, but when he left hospital, he was wearing just pyjamas.

Officers said they were concerned for his health and welfare.

In a statement, GMP said: "Have you seen missing Alan Valentine, 62, from Manchester?

"He was last seen at North Manchester General Hospital at around 7pm last night - Wednesday - and was wearing blue jeans and a dark jacket.

"He left the hospital in his pyjamas but may have got changed and we're concerned about his health as he left before receiving treatment.

"We want to make sure he's safe and well."

Anyone who may have seen Mr Valentine, or has any information, is asked to call 0161 856 3437 or 101.
