An urgent weather warning has been released by the Met Office as heavy fog is set to hit parts of the UK.
The yellow warning is in place from 4pm today until 11am tomorrow, and means both this evening's and tomorrow morning's rush hours will be affected.
Slower journey times on the roads means delays are expected to bus services and trains are also likely to be affected.
Forecasters say there may also be a chance of delays or cancellations to flights as the southern airports will also be affected.
The Met Office forecaster said: "Areas of fog are likely to reform and expand Thursday evening with large areas of poor visibility and some places seeing less than 100 m visibility at times.
"The fog is likely to persist for many overnight but then clear from the east during Friday morning."
