Ferrero, the makers of Kinder chocolate, has expanded its previous recall to include new products after they were found to potentially contain salmonella.
Products such as Kinder Mini eggs and Kinder Egg Hunt Kits are now included in the recall notice after the company extended its precautionary action.
Point of sale notices will be displayed in retail stores that are selling the products which will explain to customers why they are being recalled and tell them what to do if they have bought them.

Those who purchased the products in question are urged not to eat them but to contact the Ferrero consumer careline on consumers.uk@ferrero.com to obtain a full refund.
It follows the news earlier this week that Ferrero was recalling certain batches of its Kinder Surprise after they were found to potentially be contaminated with the bacteria.
Symptoms caused by salmonella include fever, diarrhoea, and abdominal cramps.
