Ferrero has offered an update on its Kinder recall by extending the list of products that may be infected with salmonella.
The chocolate manufacturer revealed last week that it was recalling certain batches of its Kinder Surprise eggs due to a potential link to a 'salmonella outbreak'.
It then issued an update on Wednesday expanding the recall order to include additional products such as Kinder Mini Eggs.

Now, further batches have been revealed to potentially be infected with bacteria.
Symptoms caused by salmonella include fever, diarrhoea, and abdominal cramps.
Point of sale notices will be displayed in retail stores that are selling the products which will explain to customers why they are being recalled and tell them what to do if they have bought them.
Those who purchased the products in question are urged not to eat them and to contact the Ferrero consumer care line on consumers.uk@ferrero.com to obtain a full refund.
