Urgent hunt for 'kidnapped' woman seen being dragged into BMW by mystery men

An urgent hunt is underway to find a missing woman after she was dragged into a BMW by a mystery man in West Bromwich last night.

West Bromwich Police issued an urgent appeal for witnesses after the incident happened in the Hill Top area at around 9.40pm.

They believe she may have been kidnapped.

Officers believe the woman was waiting by a bus stop when she was approached by a man who, after exchanging words, pulled her across the road and into a vehicle being driven by another man.

A witness has described the woman as being in distress and shouting and the police have serious concerns for her wellbeing.

Officers have launched an investigation to identify and find the woman, and trace the men and car involved.

The man who approached the woman is described as white, bald and in his 40s, while the car was believed to be a grey BMW X5.

The police are appealing to anyone who was in the area at the time and may have witnessed what happened - or any motorists with dash-cam who may have caught the vehicle on video - to get in touch by calling 999.
