Urgent concerns for safety of girl, 15, who may have travelled to Greater Manchester

Police are searching for a 15-year-old girl who went missing from her home yesterday afternoon (Saturday February 12).

Niamh Bonney was last seen in the Derbyshire village of Tintwistle, which borders Tameside.

According to Derbyshire Police, Niamh is 5ft 6ins tall, has blonde hair and was last seen wearing a dark red hooded top and tracksuit trousers.

She was also wearing a cream jacket with a fur hood.

A Derbyshire Police spokesman said: "We are concerned for the safety of a 15-year-old girl who has gone missing from Tintwistle.

"Niamh has connections to the Greater Manchester area and may have travelled there."
