Urgent appeal to trace missing Edinburgh man as concern grows

Police have launched an appeal for information after an Edinburgh man vanished yesterday. Mark Webster was last seen in the Britwell Crescent area of the capital at around 2.25pm on Tuesday, February 14.

Officers and his family are growing increasingly concerned for his welfare. Authorities are asking anyone who may have seen the 57-year-old to get in contact.

Mark is described as being 6ft 1in tall, of slim to medium build, bald and wears glasses. He was last seen wearing a black and green padded jacket, black trousers, dark blue trainers with turquoise laces and a blue tweed flat cap.

Sergeant Kenny Robertson said: “Our concern for Mark is growing and his family are increasing worried about him.
“I would ask anyone with information relating to his whereabouts, or anyone who has seen him, to please contact us urgently.”

Officers can be spoken to via 101, quoting reference 2254 of 14 February 2023.
