Urgent appeal to trace man who vanished overnight in Scots coastal village

A man has been reported missing after disappearing in a Scots coastal village. Lewis Adams, aged 47, was last seen in Portsoy, Aberdeenshire, at around 2pm on Saturday, August 20.

Police say that he is known to frequent the Huntly, Peterhead and Aberdeen areas. Lewis is described as 6ft tall, with short, receding black hair.

He was wearing a black Pink Floyd T-shirt, black joggers and black Adidas bottoms at the time of his disappearance. The 47-year-old may have also been wearing a grey North face hooded top at the time.

Anyone who has seen Lewis since he went missing with information which could be relevant, is urged to contact Police Scotland.

This can be done by calling 101 and quoting incident number 2454 of August 20.
