Man who disappeared in Edinburgh five days ago traced safe and well

Edinburgh

A man who vanished in Edinburgh has been traced after five days following a police appeal.

Steven Gilchrist, 41, was last seen in the St Leonard’s area of the capital at around 4pm on Friday, December 30.

Police had asked anyone who has information regarding his whereabouts to get in contact and assist with their enquires.

But the force confirmed yesterday afternoon that Steven had been traced. Police thanked the public for the assistance with their appeal.
