Tyler was last seen wearing black trousers, a white shirt and a black blazer. He is described as being 5’8”, medium build with ginger/brown curly hair.

Amelia is described as white, around 5’1” tall, of slim build with long, light brown hair.

She was last seen wearing black Nike leggings, white trainers and a light brown padded jacket with a dark fur hood.

Northumbria Police launched a public appeal on Saturday afternoon to help locate the pair while officers continued their searches around the area.

They asked anybody who believes they may have seen Amelia or Tyler, or heard from either of them, to get in touch.

Now Northumbria Police have confirmed that both schoolchildren have been found safe and well.
