Urgent appeal to find girl, 14, missing for days who may be in Manchester

Police have issued an urgent appeal to trace a teenage girl who was last seen outside a high school three days ago. Katelan Coates, 14, was reported missing from Todmorden, West Yorkshire, on Tuesday (March 28).

The last confirmed sighting of Katelan was outside Todmorden High School on Tuesday morning but she is known to not have attended school that day.

West Yorkshire Police say it is believed she may have travelled to Blackburn, Burnley, Bury or Manchester. Katelan was last seen wearing her school uniform – which is a black blazer, a blue and black tie and black leggings.
