An urgent appeal has been issued as the search for a missing man continues, with people being told to call 999 if they see him. Avon and Somerset Police has put out the alert as officers try to locate 34-year old Ben, who was last seen in the Redcliffe area of Bristol on Sunday (October 2).
According to police, Ben was wearing a blue woollen jacket, dark blue jeans and tan-coloured work boots. Ben is described as a white male who is around 5ft 11 tall and thin with thick mousy-brown hair, blue eyes and a beard.
Police say Ben may be sleeping rough in the woods in South Bristol or North Somerset. Officers have urged the public not to approach Ben and call 999 if they see him.

In a statement on Twitter, a spokesperson for Avon and Somerset Police wrote: "We're concerned for Ben, 34, who's missing and may sleep rough in woods in South Bristol or North Somerset. He may be distressed so please don't approach but call 999 ref 5222238731."
Along with dialling 999, people can also call 101 quoting the same reference number if they have any information about Ben's whereabouts.
