Urgent Aldi salmonella warning as wraps recalled and shoppers told 'do not eat them'

Aldi has issued an urgent recall on some of its wraps as they may contain salmonella. The supermarket is urging people to return its Eat and Go Chicken and Bacon Caesar Wrap and its Eat and Go Chicken and Bacon Caesar Wrap Triple, if they have a use by date of either May 11 or 12.

The wraps have been recalled because they may contain salmonella. Salmonella can cause fever, diarrhoea, and abdominal cramps.

A poster will be displayed at Aldi stores warning people not to eat the item. The poster says: "We are recalling these products due to the possible presence of Salmonella.
