Despite rumors connecting Michigan State to Urban Meyer, the three-time national champion head coach has “no desire” to coach again.
Meyer was asked about any interest in returning to coaching on Monday, but was quick to shoot down the possibility of returning to the game. Meyer currently works for FOX and hasn’t coached since 2021.
Meyer has been linked to Michigan State’s open head coaching position over the past few weeks with fans starting to get their hopes up. However, it sounds like Meyer will not be a true candidate for the position — or at least that’s how things currently stand.
