Updated look at Dolphins’ projected 2025 draft picks

The Miami Dolphins are set to draft in the top half of the first round for the first time since 2021 after finishing outside the playoff bracket with an 8-9 record.

In addition to the seven picks they own in the 2025 NFL draft, the Dolphins are also likely to get three compensatory selections for net losses in free agency last year.

Unfortunately for the Dolphins, the loss of Christian Wilkins — which once looked like it would earn them a surefire third-round compensatory pick — is likely to be a fourth-rounder after the defensive tackle missed most of his first season with the Las Vegas Raiders due to an injury.

The full draft order won’t be official until the compensatory picks are announced in March. But here’s where the Dolphins can expect to pick in the 2025 NFL draft:

  • First round — No. 13 overall
  • Second round — No. 48 overall
  • Third round — No. 98 overall**
  • Fourth round — No. 114 overall*
  • Fourth round — No. 134 overall**
  • Fifth round — No. 150 overall*
  • Fifth round (via Broncos) — No. 155 overall*
  • Seventh round (via Bears) — No. 225 overall*
  • Seventh round — No. 232 overall*
  • Seventh round — No. 251 overall**

The 2021 NFL draft is the only time since 2007 that the Dolphins made at least 10 picks.
