In a surprise move on Tuesday, the Atlanta Falcons released safety Jaylinn Hawkins and signed safety Micah Abernathy from the practice squad. Hawkins has since landed in Los Angeles with the Chargers.
The Falcons announced two practice squad elevations for Week 7. Tight end Tucker Fisk and defensive lineman LaCale London will join the team for Sunday’s game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
