Updated Cardinals draft picks after compensatory selections added to draft

Now that the NFL has revealed the compensatory picks for this year’s draft, the full order is known. There will be 257 total choices in the seven rounds.

The Cardinals currently own 11 selections in the draft, including six in the first three rounds. Five of those are in the first 71 choices and six in the first 90.

Of course, there will likely be numerous deals between now and the April 25 beginning of the draft, but this is how things stand as of March 8.

2024 Cardinals round-by-round draft picks

  • Round 1, pick No. 4 (No. 4 overall)
  • Round 1, pick No. 27 (No. 27 overall – from Houston Texans)
  • Round 2, pick No. 3 (No. 35 overall)
  • Round 3. pick No. 2 (No. 66 overall)
  • Round 3, pick No. 7 (No. 71 overall – from Tennessee Titans)
  • Round 3, pick No. 27 (No. 90 overall – from Houston Texans)
  • Round 4, pick No. 4 (No. 103 overall)
  • Round 5, pick No. 3 (No. 137 overall)
  • Round 5, pick No. 27 (No. 161 overall – from Houston Texans)
  • Round 6, pick No. 10 (No. 185 overall – from Minnesota Vikings)
  • Round 7, pick No. 6 (No. 226 overall – from New York Giants)

In the first five rounds, the Cardinals have all of their own selections. Their sixth-round choice (No. 177 overall) was traded to the Carolina Panthers in 2022 for wide receiver Robbie Chosen (then Robbie Anderson. The seventh-rounder (No. 224 overall) was sent to the Texans as part of last summer’s trade involving tackle Josh Jones in which the Cardinals acquired Houston’s fifth-round choice.

The third-round pick from the Titans was part of a draft-day swap last year in which Tennessee moved up to select quarterback Will Levis. In that trade, the Cardinals received a second-round choice (41st overall) that was used for outside linebacker BJ Ojulari and a third-rounder (72nd overall) in which they selected cornerback Garrett Williams.

The sixth-round pick was acquired from the Vikings for quarterback Josh Dobbs while the No. 7 choice was for linebacker Isaiah Simmons.
