
Pratapgarh: Three people including advocate Neeraj Saroj (40) died in a tragic road accident in Pratapgarh district of Uttar Pradesh. The accident took place on Tuesday at Raniganj market on Lucknow-Varanasi National Highway, where a speeding uncontrolled dumper crushed many people. In this, first two people died and later three of the injured died during treatment today on Wednesday, taking the total number of deaths to five.
According to the Dynamite News correspondent, on Tuesday, a dumper coming from Badshahpur hit a person riding a car. After this, the dumper lost balance and hit e-rickshaw and motorcycle riders. In this accident, Sundaram Pandey and Rambabu, who worked in Shri Micro Finance Company, died on the spot.

During treatment in the hospital, the condition of Vikas Saroj, Neeraj Saroj and Vishal Gautam remained critical. Neeraj Saroj's wife Rajshree is in a bad condition due to crying. He was also worried about the marriage of his younger brother Kishan and sister Preeti. Neeraj's father, who is a sub-inspector in the police department, is posted in Raebareli.
E-rickshaw driver Vijay Saroj also died during treatment in the hospital, whose family includes wife Sangeeta Devi, mother Shanti Devi and two brothers. Vijay also has three young children, of which the elder daughter Simran and younger sons Ayush and Hans are 12, 8 and 6 years old respectively.

Vishal Gautam, who worked as a recovery agent at Shri Micro Finance, was also seriously injured in the accident and died during treatment.
It has been revealed that Neeraj and Vijay were close friends. Both were sitting together on an e-rickshaw and talking when the accident happened. Neeraj, who used to practice in the District Court Pratapgarh, has lost his family and friends in grief after his death.
