UP By-elections: BJP picks Suresh Awasthi for Sishamau assembly seat

Lucknow: The BJP has picked Suresh Awasthi for Sishamau assembly seat in Uttar Pradesh by-elections.


The by-elections in Uttar Pradesh will be held on November 13 while the results will be announced on November 23. 

Earlier in the day, the Bharatiya Janata Party announced its 7 candidates for the byelections. The last date for filing nominations is 25-10-2024 (Friday).

MLAs elected to LS 

The elections were necessitaed after MLAs were elected to Lok Sabha in the general polls held earlier this year.
