Lucknow: Under a major reshuffle in the state police department, the Yogi government has transferred 18 IPS officers including SPs of 12 districts.
The districts where SPs have been shifted include Ballia, Muzaffarnagar, Aligarh, Bahraich, Kasganj, Rae Bareli, Siddharthnagar, Firozabad, Bandayu, Chitrakoot, and Shravasti have been shifted, reports Dynamite News correspondent.
Besides, six Deputy Inspectors General of Police including Varanasi, Jhansi and Kanpur zones have also been transferred including UP STF, Deputy Inspector General of Economic Offences Wing (EOW).
