The Kansas City Chiefs and Buffalo Bills will write the next story in their legendary rivalry tomorrow evening in an epic AFC Championship Game at Arrowhead Stadium.
To celebrate the Chiefs’ outstanding accomplishments this season, fountains around the Kansas City area were dyed red, which led to some… unsettling results in pictures and videos posted to social media this week.
According to some fans, the red water flowing out of the fountains looked like blood.
Take a look at this example of a creepy fountain, which was posted to Twitter by user @Bessex_Joshua ahead of Kansas City’s playoff matchup against Buffalo:

This isn’t the first time that fountains have been dyed to celebrate the athletic accomplishments of Kansas City’s sports teams, the creepy images of red water gushing from nozzles and pooling in a cistern seem more appropriate for Halloween celebration than an AFC Championship Game against the Bills at Arrowhead Stadium.
