Jade Goody and Jack Tweed married just weeks before she died from cervical cancer in 2009.
Footage of the bittersweet day aired in the last episode of Channel 4's documentary The Reality Star Who Changed Britain last night, which showed Mark Wright among the guests.
Newlyweds Jade and Jack were seen sharing their first dance as a married couple, while the guests struggled to contain their emotions.
Among them was a pre-TOWIE Mark, who was filmed weeping at the emotional moment.
He was joined by his then girlfriend Lauren Goodger, who would join him on TOWIE when it began just a year later.
Mark and Jack grew up together and he was best man at the wedding.
Members of Mark's family - including mum Carol - were also among the guests.
The pair drifted apart after Mark rose to fame on TOWIE and later moved to the US to pursue a career as a TV presenter.
Jack found himself in trouble with the law and was found guilty in 2015 of assaulting three students.
They reunited last summer when Jack attended Mark's brother Josh's wedding in Majorca.
Mark shared a snap of the two of them to his Instagram stories, the first time they'd been pictured together in eight years.
He captioned the photo: "When they say from day, this is really from day one. @JackTweed_."
The last episode of the upsetting series showed the moment Jade found out she had cancer.
Jade was filmed getting the news over the phone while starring in Indian Big Brother .
Viewers were horrified at the scenes as they questioned why the show decided to air the tragic moment.
