"No," he said. "The ball comes in. A bit of physical contact. It goes to Alistair Johnston, who may have well put it into the back of the net on another day, but not a penalty."
Celtic have now lost back-to-back matches against Rangers and conceded nine goals in their last three games against the Ibrox side.
Rodgers' side, however, remain 13 points clear at the top of the Scottish Premiership and are four wins away from securing their fourth consecutive league title.
