An unregistered dentist is being investigated for allegedly offering services from his home in Adelaide's west.
The Health and Community Services Complaints Commissioner, Associate Professor Grant Davies, said he recently received a complaint that Mario De Ieso has been offering dental services at his Beverley home.
Associate Professor Davies said Mr De Ieso has not been registered as a dental practitioner since May 2018.
Associate Professor Davies has issued an interim prohibition order against Mr De Ieso, banning him from providing any kind of dental services for 12 weeks while an investigation takes place.
"I felt it necessary to make this order to protect the health and safety of members of the public," Associate Professor Davies said.
