'Unreal!' Rapid Welsh teen dances past four defenders to score brilliant try

Rip down the flank with raw speed, check inside, and put on the afterburners for a cracking finish leaving four defenders in your wake: this is some effort from Amy Williams.

The Dragons Women under-18s winger was in fine form when her side faced Leinster in Newport last Friday, August 5. Williams made herself known on the field with an outstanding solo effort which saw her evade waves of opposing players with her dancing feet and lightning speed.

Wales international and Dragons Women performance lead Cerys Hale said: "Unreal finish to top of a great team performance Friday night! Proud of this group!"

The video has racked up 17,500 views on Twitter so far, and viewers were impressed by the young winger's quality.

It turns out Williams is also a talented footballer, who is on the books with Cardiff City Women after joining the club last summer from Abergavenny.

Despite losing the match, Dragons academy coach Shaun Connor said the team did incredibly well given it was a first-run out for the majority of players.

"For our players, it was their first run out at that level," he said. "They lost, but because it was their first moments, their first game at that level, the girls came out of it with huge credit."
