A new product from supermarket chain Iceland has left customers eager to give it a try. The popular brand, known for its frozen lines and award-winning online shopping service, frequently sees its products shared on social media.
One such post that's got people salivating at the prospect of tingling tastebuds. The hit foodie account @newfoodsuk on Instagram posted an image of the retailer's new 'Salt & Pepper Crunchies' and got a big response.
The snack, which is currently sold out online, features hash brown tater tots created with shredded potato, blended with green peppers, red peppers and onions. It also includes a salt and pepper seasoning sachet.
Captioning an image of the coveted product, @newfoodsuk posted: "New Salt & Pepper Crunchies at Iceland! We just noticed these online at Iceland, but not in stock as of yet, guessing they will be out soon!"
The tots proved popular on the hit social media platform, with the image racking up more than 1,400 likes in just a matter of hours. Shoppers shared their thoughts in the comments section.
