An 'unprovoked' serious attack in Bury town centre left a victim with a bleed on the brain and a fractured skull. Police are now trying to trace a man they wish to speak to as investigations into the incident continue.
Police were called to the incident, which occurred in the town centre at around 3am on Sunday (June 5). They received reports of a serious assault which investigations have revealed involved two victims.
One of the victims sustained non-life threatening injuries, whereas the other was seriously harmed, with a bleed on the brain and a fractured skull.

Detectives from Greater Manchester Police are now continuing to appeal to the public for any information about the attack. They have now released CCTV images of one male they wish to speak to, in the hope he will be identified.
Detective Constable Wilkinson, of GMP’s Bury CID, said: “We believe this was an unprovoked attack which has left one man with serious and life changing injuries. We do not tolerate this level of violence within our community and urge anyone who can assist us with our investigation to contact officers."
