Detectives from Greater Manchester Police are now continuing to appeal to the public for any information about the attack. They have now released CCTV images of one male they wish to speak to, in the hope he will be identified.

Detective Constable Wilkinson, of GMP’s Bury CID, said: “We believe this was an unprovoked attack which has left one man with serious and life changing injuries. We do not tolerate this level of violence within our community and urge anyone who can assist us with our investigation to contact officers."
