Their fans defended the pair’s chemistry, labeling it as “palpable” as they exchanged smiles, held hands, and even took the time to chat with fellow celebrity Monica Barbaro, who co-stars in Chalamet’s latest project, Bob Dylan’s biographical pic A Complete Unknown.
While the actor was nominated for his portrayal of the legendary songwriter, he did not win in his category this time around as the award was instead given to Adrien Brody for his performance in The Brutalist.
The film itself was also passed in favor of Edward Berger’s political thriller Conclave, which ended the night as the most celebrated production by winning four awards: Best Film, Outstanding British Film, Best Adapted Screenplay, and Best Editing.

The couple’s critics held nothing back, body-shaming the actor for his height and youthful looks, claiming that he “has the body of a 12-year-old” and drawing unfavorable comparisons to Jenner’s ex-husband, Travis Scott.

The trolling continued, with viewers criticizing Chalamet’s playful and lighthearted behavior.
