United Utilities have announced the time water supplies should be back on in homes across Merseyside.
Properties in the L21, L30, L9, L23, L10, L22, L72 postcodes have been without water or experiencing low water since the early hours of Saturday, July 24. United Utilities turned off supplies due to a burst pipe on Church Road/Dunnings Bridge Road in Litherland.
Sefton council confirmed that the water supplier had been working at the site since earlier this morning (July 24). United Utilities expect the water supply to be back on to all affected properties by 10pm tonight.

In a statement on its website, United Utilities said: "We have now replaced the section of water pipe that had caused the burst and the disruption to customers. We can now begin to refill the pipe and network with water but need to do that carefully due to the size and to avoid any further issues occurring such as further leaks or discoloured water.
"We expect that everyone will come back on supply through the evening and up to about 10pm."
Bottle stations are temporarily closed at sites set up at Sainsbury's in Crosby and Netherton Activity Centre in Netherton. The water provider has set up a third site at Tesco on Hawthorne Road in Litherland which will remain open until 9pm tonight.
United Utilities added: "We have now opened another bottled water station at Tesco Hawthorne Road Litherland L21 8NZ and this will remain open until 9pm.
"We’ve temporarily closed the bottled water station at Netherton Activity Centre L30 3TL whilst we wait for more bottled water to be delivered, but will re-open that as soon as possible and confirm that when that is back up and running.
"Thank you all for your patience and understanding whilst we complete the work."
