Union Bears unveil another banner blast in protest against Rangers board

The Union Bears have unveiled another banner in protest against the Rangers board.

The supporter group held aloft numerous displays during the win over St Johnstone calling for a change in leadership at the Ibrox club.

The Union Bears then left the stadium in the 55th minute in a planned walkout as part of the protest.

Now, the group have unveiled another banner blast during the Scottish Premiership match against Aberdeen.

The banner read: "Rangers FC - Do not enter unless you're ready to put yourself second.

"And that should be the one and only time second is good enough for you."

The main banner quoted legendary manager Walter Smith. Smaller banners could be seen in different areas of the stadium.

The group had warned protests would continue until there is "real change" at Rangers.

A short statement posted by the group read: “Thank you to every Rangers fan who participated in the protest actions today.

“We will continue until there is real change for our club.”

“I want everybody to be united," said Philippe Clement of the protests. "Simple.

"You can see it as a positive that still a lot of people are behind everything. But I want to have everybody united.

“That's what I wanted last year when I came in and it was also totally not the case at the moment.

“But it has to do with performance and that's normal.

“We want consistency, I want consistency, and fans want consistency to get better results.

“And in that way, we have consistency in the home games. We now have 31 points out of 33, I think.

“We have consistency in our European season, but we didn't have consistency away at home. So, those are things to work on with all the squad.

“I’m focused on getting the results and I know also out of my experience here, if we play well, if we get the results, that the fans are always behind the team. But I understand the frustration.”
