Union Bears display latest Rangers tifo as they go big for Liverpool with full stand effort

Rangers supporters group The Union Bears have unveiled their latest tifo effort for tonight's Champions League Group A clash against Liverpool.

The Light Blues have packed out Ibrox for the 'Battle of Britain' against one of English football's giants. Giovanni van Bronckhorst's men needed a positive result to keep any chances of last 16 progression alive. To help them with this, the vocal singing section at Rangers' home ground have offered a big display for when the team walked out the tunnel.

It spanned the whole of the stand which the Union Bears occupy with the message 'rampant Rangers' emblazoned at the bottom of the sea of blue and red. John Lundstram knows how important the home crowd is to the club and it was on full display during last year's run to the Europa League final, but the plea from the midfielder is stick with Rangers.

He explained: "At Ibrox you have to get up against people, get the crowd up, get the crowd going and try to instil a bit of fear in the opposition.

"If we can get up to them and in their faces, it might leave us open a bit. Everyone will have to be brave in the stands and bear with us.

"As long as we’re up against them and laying a glove on them hopefully we can get something."
