'Unicorn Land' is coming to Bristol this summer

If you've ever wanted to meet a real life unicorn you'll be in luck this summer, sort of.

Unicorn Land is a magical, luxury concept where children can meet, groom and even ride in a princess carriage, along with a host of other unicorn inspired activities.

The ticketed event will stop off in Bristol this summer, as well as over two dozen other locations.

The date of the Bristol event has not yet been finalised.

Stafford Carrington, Unicorn Dream CEO, was inspired to create the tour after he and his daughter visited a unicorn centre, located more than 250 miles from where they lived.

His daughter, Alyssya, attends regular business meetings, helping to develop marketing and product ideas for the pre-teen unicorn market.

Alyssya said: "I love working on Unicorn Dream. I talk to my friends and search the Internet to find out what kids want and tell my dad then we try to make it work."

Visitors to Unicorn Land will get to meet the mythical creatures, enjoy face painting and follow a magical Unicorn Land trail.

But the event isn't all about glitter and fairy magic.

Guests will also get to explore the future of technology with The Fab Bus - a London double-decker bus fitted with 16 workstations, 3D printers, food printers, vinyl laser cutters and more.

Children will have the opportunity to design unicorn stables, a unicorn play area and an entertainment building with the winning design being brought to fruition later in the year.

The winner will be chosen by architects and unicorn experts and the stables will be completed by October 2019.
